Brie — Photo and Video Release
Effective: September 29, 2026
This release applies when you attend a Brie event. You agree to it when you accept your invitation.
You must be 18 or over to attend a Brie event.
---
What you're agreeing to
By attending, you give Brie Labs Inc. ("Brie") and anyone Brie authorises — photographers, videographers, agencies, and partners — permission to:
- photograph, film, and record you at the event, including your voice; - use, reproduce, edit, crop, and publish your image, likeness, voice, and first name; - do so worldwide, in any medium now known or later developed — including social media, our website and app, advertising, press, and investor and recruiting materials; - do so perpetually and irrevocably, without any obligation to pay you or to get your approval again.
You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished material, and any claim for payment, royalties, or compensation.
Brie may assign or sublicense these rights, and this release binds anyone Brie transfers them to.
We will never use your last name, contact details, or profile information in marketing without asking you separately.
What we won't do
We will not use your image in a way that states or implies something untrue about you — that you are in a relationship you're not in, that you met someone at the event when you didn't, or that you endorse something you haven't. If we want to tell your story, we'll ask you first.
We will not sell your image to third parties.
If you'd rather not be photographed
You can attend without being photographed. Ask a member of the Brie team at the door and we'll give you a marker — a differently coloured wristband — and brief our photographer. You will not be excluded from anything.
Photography and filming are always signposted at the entrance.
Asking us to take something down
Although this release is irrevocable, we'd rather you were comfortable than technically bound. If a photo or video of you is published and you want it removed, email hello@itsbrie.com with a description or link and we'll take it down from anything we control, normally within a few days.
We can't recall material that has already been printed, broadcast, or republished by someone else, and we can't remove it from other people's accounts or reposts.
Other people at the event
Please respect other guests. Don't photograph or film anyone who has asked you not to, don't post images of other attendees without their agreement, and don't share anything that identifies someone as a Brie member without their permission.
Your data
Photos and video from Brie events are handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not use event photography for identity verification, and event footage is never used as, or combined with, biometric data.
Legal
This release is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. If any part of it is unenforceable, the rest still applies. It's the entire agreement between you and Brie about photography and filming at Brie events.
If you're not willing to agree to this release, please tell us at the door and we'll mark you as opted out — or you're welcome not to attend.
